The outdated decor could use a refresh!!! More attention to maintenance, like fixing screen repairs would help improve the overall experience!!! A more organized check-in process would be greatly appreciated!!!

Clean linens were appreciated, but the overwhelming smell of disinfectant was unbearable.

During our stay, we enjoyed a fantastic day out on glass bottom boats, which was perfect since my grandchild loves discovering marine life without getting wet! The motel’s laid-back vibe and proximity to fun family activities made it memorable for all of us.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly amenities, like a playground for them to enjoy while we relaxed. Also, if service could be improved, that would elevate the whole experience.

A Mixed Experience, But Not Without Its Charm
Despite some challenges during our three-night stay, such as the dated rooms, I appreciated the efforts of the staff to maintain cleanliness. The vibrant local atmosphere made up for some shortcomings. Tip, Check local eateries to enhance your experience during your stay.

The place had a chill vibe. Staff were super helpful with my bags and friendly throughout my stay. Free Wi-Fi worked great, which was a plus. The outdoor dining area felt cozy and was perfect for enjoying meals. My room was clean and well-maintained. The only downside was the absence of a pool, which I knew beforehand, but still would have been nice. The location was decent, and access to nearby eateries was easy. Despite some quirks, I enjoyed my time here and would consider returning.

Cozy hideaway with friendly vibes
The staff treated me like family, and they had great local tips. The pool at the Faro Blanco was nice, even if it was a bit of a trek. Only bummer was that the room I got felt a bit cramped, but it was all clean and comfy. Perfect for chilling after adventures!

After some culinary adventures, I was delighted by the picnic tables outside, perfect for munching on goodies from nearby eats like Wendy's, just a stone's throw away. The staff were friendly and easy to deal with, making the stay smoother than a Key West sunset!
Upon check-in, the disinfectant smell was overwhelming, forcing us to crank up the AC. Housekeeping could've been better. we found some unwelcome critters in the bathroom. Creepy vibes led us to spend more time out than in!

missingWrote a review on May 06garden areahighway accessoutdated decor
The garden area offers a modest but nice space to relax, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The convenient location right on the Overseas Highway allows easy access for exploring the rest of the Keys.
Staying in a room at the back felt more like a trailer park than a motel. The kitchen suite showed signs of wear, with outdated decor, a musty smell, and nagging issues like the inconsistent Wi-Fi. I also noticed bugs in the room, and a somewhat disorganized appearance with windows hastily covered up with cardboard next to ME. Adding to the frustration, the promise of outdoor swimming facilities turned out to be misleading. I could not locate any operational pools during my stay.

Family, Not exactly a paradise
So we arrive and I'm ready for a complete meltdown the moment I see the state of the mattress and the stained towels but the air conditioning worked which was a small blessing in this hellhole and the fridge was large enough to store a week's worth of drinks, I mean it wasn't all bad there was something.
Wasn't exactly cheap but you can deal with that for a week I guess.
